Desk ~ Bob Kesh

the shadow of a bug looms like night.
a lamp blazes over white walls,
a thousand trees in a jar,
a hat I am fond of,
your kiss in a cracked container,
a joke clipped to a box with
another mans watch,
useless receipts,
pens,
pens,
ink,
pencils and
Chinese brushes
stuck in a memory.
a fifth of whiskey
partially drunk,
an innovated ashtray with the
face of a Viking,
scissors,
black and red,
notepads and paper,
a tattered map of an Asian city,
a shirt that hugs the wall,
a speaker plugged into library,
some trash,
a laptop,
on 100 by 45cm of desk,
I create worlds from here.
