Sirloin peace ~ Rene

The back of this bull
along with everything else
is torn out
so i can fry it
leaving this hunger changing meal
this steak
to cook with some butter and mushrooms

blood still comes from its cells
like an exact river
i can experience
and taste
a small strain of fat
still lives
on its corner
in silence and wine
and rarities
upon rarities
build up
like meals of solitude
an inch thick
requiring no politeness
or manners here
to be offered or put on
any different
from your minds heart
and flavour.
