Speechless – Kadeem Beresford-James

Here, words mean

nothing

because words are not

what I hear

here.

And word is not

a sense

it is a program.

And I am not

a machine

because they don’t feel

what I feel

when I feel

you;

you on me

me in you

teasing and tasting in terrific torture.

And there are no words

just your breathing

and my breathing

tightening

then winding down,

mirroring our hands,

and legs,

and tongues,

encouraged by sound

guided by instinct

wanting for nothing

more

than more.
