The Tulips are in season
Their red, yellow,
Marigold and blue bloom
Finds me wishing
Their reason for being;
For lighting up
The grassy plains of
Long forgotten parts of the mind,
Was because the earth
Had rotated so far
From the end
That opposites could attract
Once again.
